Is Jesus a Demigod?
Most of the world will affirm that Jesus actually existed. Even opposing religions like Islam state that Jesus was born of a virgin and a prophet for their religion. Although, for people who aren’t that familiar with the Bible there are questions that arise.
Is Jesus a Demigod? No, Jesus is God incarnate. He isn’t the offspring of God nor is a man who obtained a dIvine nature. He is part of the trinity. This includes God the Father, Jesus the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
What is considered a demigod?
A demigod in mythology refers to someone who is the offspring of god. In Greek mythology, Hercules is the offspring of the Greek god Zeus. This makes Hercules part god. By definition, Hercules is a demigod. Although, it has been proven that greek mythology was nothing more than mystical tales.
Is Jesus the Son of God?

While being called a “Son” refers to you being an offspring of your parents it is not the same when we say “Jesus is the Son of God.” Jesus wasn’t the offspring of God. He is God.
If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.
John 14:7
Jesus being called the “Son of God” is another way of saying that Jesus is a manifestation of God. We know that God is spirit. Jesus was a physical manifestation of the father. That being said Jesus is the “Son (manifestation) of God.”
Is God the Father, Jesus the Son and The Holy Spirit the same?
The complexity of the Trinity is something we may never understand until we reach heaven. It use to be said that the Trinity is like an onion. The outside, the inside, and the core. Although, this doesn’t give the Trinity justice.
All three of the Trinity are individuals but they are all one. This is a conundrum because how can three things be separate and also be the same at the same time. Humans are three-part beings. Our minds can have emotions that can be separate from the body. You can also feel things in your spirit that don’t agree with what you feel. We are three parts that makeup one person. The Trinity is the same. While they are three individual beings they are all God.
To Sum up
Jesus is not God’s offspring. This means that he is not a lesser part. He is not a demigod. He is God incarnate. The second part of the Trinity. With the Father and the Holy Spirit, the three make up the godhead. God will share His glory with no one. Therefore he in the form of Jesus stepped out of space and time to be the payment for our sins.
